Oxford wood recycling enterprise 20th anniversary appeal

Oxford Wood Recycling is a social company and a charity that collects wood that are intended to regain and recycle it.

Although the organization in its Abingdon Wood Shop in Suffolk Way is almost available, the team said that additional help is needed for charity organizations in a “difficult year”.

A spokesman for Oxford Wood Recycling said: “Unusual for a charity, we are financed more than 90 percent from the trade, of which we are immensely proud of, but with increasing costs and the desire to work more for our community through workshops, courses and our wood, we have to look for these projects for these projects for alternative funds.

The organization was founded in 2005 by Richard Snow, Nick Dowling and Helen Porter in “Humble”, who met during a postgraduate studies at Oxford University.

Their original goal was to tackle the “wasteful attitude towards wood products in Great Britain by providing alternative waste development solutions” since then grown into a “full” charity.

Now Oxford Wood’s recycling supports people in order to get jobs to win back a year, and has rejected more than 400 tons of wood every year and started a community shed to combat isolation through wood processing and chat. The charity organization added: “Our effect has never been stronger.”
